Heidi Archer: Featured Artist

29 October - 24 November 2026

This new collection by Heidi Archer is inspired by time spent on the North and South Coast of Cornwall during the hot summer of 2026. It draws on the familiar topography of the Atlantic shoreline, with its hidden harbours, moored fishing boats and remote sea view cottages. In particular, this collection captures the early dawns and late sunsets of high summer against the ever-present ocean horizon, in the artist's crisply composed and distinctly graphic style.

Heidi works with oil, acrylic, carborundum and charcoal on canvas board and panel, layering and reworking colours using handmade stencils, before repainting, scoring and sanding the surface. She is based in Devon and makes work inspired by the Southwest coast and the beautiful landscape of Dartmoor. Heidi's work has been selected for the Society of Women Artists Annual Exhibition at Mall Galleries, London.
