Award winning artist Andrew Barrowman makes work outdoors in Cornwall's most beautiful and dramatic locations. His new collection takes us off the beaten track, exploring the beautiful North Cornwall coast from quiet places and hidden footpaths. Created en plein air with willow charcoal on paper and board, these drawings are inspired by the coastal landscape around Polzeath. It includes views of The Rumps, Lundy Bay, Polzeath Beach, Pentire Glaze, Stepper Point, the River Amble and views across the ocean from Epphaven cove.

In 2021 Andrew Barrowman was awarded the Bowyer Drawing Prize at The New English Art Club annual exhibition. In 2023 he was elected as an associate member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, and as a full member of the Pastel Society. In early 2024 he won the Artist Magazine Award at the Pastel Society's 125th exhibition. He is also the author of Views from the Studio Window, a book of 120 oil sketches looking out from his studio over the course of a year.
